First timer here! This place is very divey and absolutely no frills, so couple things to note. They are cash only. I can't imagine asking for anything other than beer or a mixed drink, but you can try. The bartenders have an attitude that screams "you'll get what you get and you won't throw a fit". No bullshit kinda people. Most people are very stereotypically hipster here, which adds to the vibe honestly, and it seems like they have a lot of regulars that all know each other so it can be kinda cliquey. There will be lots of people smoking cigarettes out front all night. Okay, with that being said and out of the way.. the concept of this place that I love is that they spin vinyls from the 70s and 80s (no requests) and most of it is disco/funk type vibes which is great for dancing! Although, not much room for dancing in this establishment. Apparently the DJs spend hours digging for the best vinyls to spin and resurface forgotten music, so I respect the hustle! The artwork on the walls is so interesting and really gives the place character of the coolest spot in dc. They also play the whackiest movies on their one tv in the bar, which is quite entertaining throughout the night. So if you can get past all the stuff in the beginning, I think you'll really find something you can love here. It's absolutely a great late night spot if you live in the area, so I can see why they have so many regulars.

Overall Rating: 4.5/5 The reason why not a 5 is due to the cash only rule but they have an ATM in the lounge. If you're looking for a chill vibe, this is your spot. This place host great events as well and one of my favorite drinks in the whole city, their orange creamsicle with vodka WHEW. That'll not only be a walk down memory lane but also one too many and you'll be blacking out lol give this place a try! Service: 10/10 such sweet people here!
